There’s a reason the under-eye highlighter trick is everywhere. A little light reflection, a touch of concealer, and suddenly you look considerably better rested than you feel.
The version doing the rounds on TikTok uses Armani’s highlighter beneath concealer. But if you already own a PROSHINE Pink or Gold Shimmer High Shine Solid Body Oil, this is another reason to get it out of your bag.
Yes, it says body oil. It works on your face, too.
Why PROSHINE?
Our Shimmer High Shine Solid Body Oils combine light reflection and sheer pink or gold tones with hyaluronic acid, nourishing oils and shea butter. These help keep the under-eye hydrated and supple, so concealer sits more smoothly and is less likely to catch on dry texture and emphasise fine lines. Brightness, a subtle colour adjustment and a well-conditioned base—all in one.
Pink Shimmer or Gold Shimmer?
Pink Shimmer: fresh, rosy brightness
Pink Shimmer brings a cool, rosy reflection that can help a dull-looking under-eye appear fresher, particularly on lighter complexions.
The formula includes camellia oil, jojoba oil, shea butter and hyaluronic acid. The oils and butter help soften and condition skin, while hyaluronic acid helps retain moisture.
It’s a good starting point if cool-toned brighteners tend to suit you.
Gold Shimmer: warm, golden light
Gold Shimmer gives a warmer reflection that can look especially flattering on warm or deeper complexions, adding luminosity without an overly pale highlight.
Its formula includes almond oil, sunflower oil, grapeseed oil, shea butter and hyaluronic acid to help keep skin soft, nourished and moisturised.
Choose it if golden tones blend naturally into your skin. The best shade is the one that brightens without leaving an obvious stripe of colour.
How to try the under-eye concealer hack
1. Start small.
Pick up a tiny amount of Pink or Gold Shimmer with a clean fingertip or small brush. Using the back of your hand first helps control how much you apply.
2. Tap over the shadow.
Press a thin layer onto the area that needs brightening, keeping clear of the lash line and the eye itself. Focus the reflection where you need it rather than coating the whole under-eye.
3. Add concealer where needed.
Tap a little concealer over any remaining darkness. Build slowly: too much product can move around or emphasise texture.
Check the result in natural light before adding more. A little goes a surprisingly long way.
And then use it everywhere else
Once you’ve finished your concealer, the same stick can add light to cheekbones, collarbones, shoulders and legs.
That’s the point of PROSHINE: practical products that work across your routine, bringing a little backstage know-how to getting ready at home.
One stick. Plenty of uses. A very useful thing to have in your makeup bag.
